A big hello from me. If I'm not found staring into space beyond my desk (though some may call it my 'thinking about/doing' writing time) then the remainder of my week tends to be spent working in my garden, which always needs attention, or passing the time of day with my grandchildren who live next door.
The spectre of Covid 19 restrictions have lately made those interactions with my grandkids quite variable. There have been weeks, as at present while I write this, that they have not been allowed to pop into my house, even though grandad and I live so nearby. This restriction has been particularly difficult for my grandson of 6 who had just got back to being happy with the better contact during the summer months(2020).
All of the benefits I've mentioned below about living in Aberdeenshire, Scotland are currently curtailed but will hopefully be possible in the not-too-distant future if we can contain the virus.
[Living in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, has great benefits because we can all pop out to visit a huge range of fabulous castles, standing stones, and other historical sites so easily - there being hundreds of sites to choose from - some within walking distance, or others a short drive away. Woodlands and Forestry Commission areas are also great for letting off some of that energetic steam which little kids have in abundance. Fresh air is supposed to clear my 'writing' head but I'll let you know how that goes!]
When I can find the time, I love to read an eclectic mixture of fiction genres, often reading into the wee small hours since my writing time tends to go on late and my reading for pleasure even later!
Please join me on my BLOG since that's where my up-to-date information tends to be more frequently.
